Talk Therapy
My approach is grounded in an integrative, strengths-based, and person-centered framework. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. Working in private practice allows me to pursue ongoing advanced and specialized training across a variety of therapeutic approaches.
In addition to insight-oriented and trauma-focused work, I incorporate psychoeducation and practical skill-building to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, communication patterns, relationship skills, and assertiveness. My goal is not only to help clients better understand themselves, but also to support meaningful and sustainable change in their day-to-day lives.
Together, we’ll work to better understand what may be contributing to feelings of anxiety, sadness, overwhelm, disconnection, or feeling “stuck,” while also building tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence, flexibility, and self-compassion.
Below are some of the frameworks and tools I may incorporate into our work together:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Learn to recognize patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we'll build practical strategies to help you respond to challenges with greater confidence and flexibility.
Narrative Therapy
The stories we tell ourselves shape how we see who we are and what's possible. Narrative Therapy helps you explore these stories, challenge limiting beliefs, and create space for new perspectives.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Sometimes the goal isn't to spend more time analyzing the problem, but to identify what's already working. Solution-Focused Therapy helps you build on your strengths and move toward meaningful change, one step at a time.
EMDR
.You’ve probably had the experience of knowing something logically, while your body reacts like it doesn’t believe it at all.
EMDR helps bridge that gap.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Strengthen your ability to navigate difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward a meaningful life. ACT helps you reconnect with what matters most and take meaningful steps toward it.
